Peer Review Process
The Journal of Accelerated Mathematics Instruction and Learning is committed to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and publishing ethics. As a member of the academic community, we adhere to the principles outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure the quality and validity of the research we publish.
Our journal employs a double-blind peer review process, where both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous to maintain objectivity and impartiality. This rigorous process involves the following steps:
- Initial screening: The editorial team reviews submitted manuscripts to ensure they align with the journal's scope and meet the basic criteria for publication.
- Peer review: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, methodology, results, and contribution to the field of accelerated mathematics instruction and learning.
- Revision and resubmission: Based on the reviewers' feedback, authors may be required to revise and resubmit their manuscript. The revised manuscript is then re-evaluated by the reviewers to ensure that the concerns and suggestions have been addressed.
- Final decision: The editorial team makes a final decision on manuscript acceptance, rejection, or further revision based on the reviewers' recommendations and the journal's editorial policies.
